SOCIAL ASSESSMENT

Indoor doggy daycare keeps the pups cool in the summer and warm in the winter

All dogs MUST pass Pet Pawsitive's 4 hour Social Assessment to ensure the safety of all our furry guests and our staff. We assess your pups on social skills which includes how your pup greets other dogs and our staff, toy sharing, their independence, energy levels, play methods & temperaments.

Once your pup completes their social assessment, a 4 week program is designed based on the outcome of the assessment which is mandatory to ensure your pup becomes as comfortable as possible with our facility, staff, routine and of course to gain independence and find their place with our Pawsitive Pack. Becoming independent is key to having a well socialized pup.

All Dogs MUST be up to date on all vaccines including Bordetella, Rabies, Distemper/Parvo Vaccines or have valid current titre tests results and if older than 6 months at time of social assessment they must be SPAYED/NEUTERED.

****We contact Veterinarians directly to ensure all pets meet our requirements prior to their social assessment****

Reassessments are required if your pup(s) have not attended daycare within 3 months, behaviours can change drastically within this time frame. Safety is our number one priority.

PUPPY DAYCARE

SOCIAL ASSESSMENT

We accept Puppies as young as 10 weeks.

All Puppies MUST be up to date within their puppy vaccine schedule plus they MUST have their Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine. We monitor their vaccine schedule to ensure they receive all puppy vaccines throughout their schedule.

All puppies must complete a 4 hour social assessment so we can assess their social skills, confidence & independence. Upon completing the assessment process all puppies are required to complete a 4 week program of attending daycare twice a week for a min of 5 hours each day. Once the 4 week program is completed it's encouraged that all puppies atend daycare once a week to prevent losing the social skills they've learned. Practice is key.

All Puppies will receive mandatory naps during their playdate. We recommend feeding 3 meals a day on daycare days and for full daycare days we recommend packing their lunch, as we will feed lunch and provide mandatory naps based on the age of your puppy and their needs.

Puppies are categorized from ages 10wks -7months if intact.

We accept NEW puppies up to 6 months old and all puppies will be discharged from daycare at 7 months old IF still intact, once a puppy is spayed or neutered they are considered an adult dog and are welcome to return to doggie daycare once they have completed a reassessment.

PAWSITIVE DOGGIE VACATION PACKAGE

Daycare is a great way for your pups to burn energy while they socialize with their friends & staff

For Dogs that are 6 months and older that are spayed or neutered.

Our custom designed facility allows us to have separate play groups based on size and energy levels. Our facility is capable of having 3 separate groups at one time. On average each group may consist of 10-15 dogs her group.

We feed lunches, administer meds and provide naps as needed for our full day daycare dogs. Clients are required to pack their dogs lunches, meds and treats. 5 hour daycare dogs will not receive meals and/or mandatory naps due to minimal time frame. All dogs being fed receive a mandatory 1 hour nap prior to being fed and another 1 hour nap after eating each meal to prevent bloating.

All pets profiles must be kept up to date with feeding and medication schedules.

All dogs MUST be healthy and continence to be accepted into our facility.

We offer Single days (min 5 hrs) and Prepaid Packages offering 5 hour, 10 hour and 15 hour days in blocks of 5 &10 day packages. Each Prepaid Package offers a discount of 5 or 10% off. All prepaid packages MUST be used within 60 days of the purchase date otherwise they expire and the packages are non-refundable. Purchase at your own risk.

PAWSITIVE DOGGIE VACATION PACKAGE

We are the ONLY pet resort in the Quinte area that offers Pawsitive Movie Night

Our Pawsitive Vacation Package includes up to 10 hours of daycare, rest time as needed, all feedings required, administering medications, nail trims if required, and our famous Pawsitive Movie Night in our Luxury Doggy Lounge with staff and of course our Pawsitive Tuck In Service in your pups Luxury Doggy Suite.

Clients are required to pack enough food for the duration of their stay plus 2 days, along with treats and medications. We also RECOMMEND clients bring their dogs bed, a blanket, and toys (no rawhide). Having the smell of home brings comfort to your furbaby

Please do not pack your dogs bowls, we supply stainless steel water and food bowls for sanitary reasons.

A trial night is mandatory for all dogs prior to staying more than 2 consecutive vacation nights to ensure our facility is the right fit for your pup.

We encourage clients to bring their "puppies" crates from home if they are crate trained, this will assist with house training your puppy and provide comfort.

We are a Pro - Raw Facility.

Our Suites are large enough for up to 3-4 dogs FROM THE SAME FAMILY

We offer multiple dog discounts sharing the same suite.

We offer Single & Double Kitty Condos. Each condo has 4 levels, the main floor offers a litter box, litter mat and a space to roam, the 2nd level is a resting bench, the 3rd level offers a place mat, food & water bowl and a scratching post with space to roam and the 4th level offers a resting area with a cubby bed, the perfect place to be nice and high while enjoying the 360 Degree views.

Each kitty guest will enjoy daily a minimum of 1 hour play time in our HUGE kitty playroom. Our Kitty Playroom offers a large window with a view of the Bay of Quinte, 1 large Cat tree with multiple levels, a kitty play station with lots of cubbies & tunnels to explore, multiple scratching posts, lots of toys and a litter box and water bowls.

Each Night stay includes: Indoor Climate controlled Condo * 1 hour Min of play/cuddle time * 24/7 calming music from Alexa * Routine health checks daily * Meals & Treats served * Access to Fresh water 24/7 * Litter Boxes scooped twice daily * Dishes washed twice a day * Medications administered if required.

**We supply the dishes, Bedding, litter boxes, litter & toys; Clients supply the food, treats & medications (if required).

We offer multiple cat discounts for cats sharing the same condo.

ALL KITTIES MUST BE SPAYED/NEUTERED AT 4 MONTHS OLD.

*** PLEASE NOTE - Clients must book an evening tour prior to drop off if they want to see the kitty villa, we do not allow clients to come in the resort at check in due to being too busy caring for the pets in our care during the day***
