WE ARE OPEN WITH COVID-19 PRACTICES IN EFFECT ~ PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE
At Pet Pawsitive, we are focused on ensuring that your pets have a happy & healthy balanced lifestyle while vacationing or spending day visits with us. We've designed our resort to allow for multiple play groups and that also provide quiet down time when needed but due to our limited space we are only able to take on highly sociable dogs. We know that not every dog will thrive in our social setting as much as most pet parents would love their furbabies to do so, so our policy is mandatory that all dogs complete and pass a 4 hour social assessment to be able to enroll in our daycare and start the process to be able to vacation with us.
Our vacationing services require more than just a 4 hour social assessment, we want to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible. Being away from home in a strange environment is very stressful for a dog, so we require all dogs to attend daycare for the first 4 weeks at minimum 1 x 5hr day per week and experience a trial vacation night prior to an extended stay or at the very least in certain situations attend daycare for a minimum of 10 hrs prior to a vacation night, this allows us at the very least to introduce dogs into a suite and see how they settle prior to committing to an overnight. We are all about providing the right care for your dogs, in a social environment an anxious or stressed dog is a recipe for disaster, dogs feel energy and they feed off energy, so we want to do our very best to ensure your pup is stress free, happy and healthy during their stay with us.
In addition to our social luxury pet resort, your pets health plays a major role to balance their happy & healthy lifestyle. To that end, we require that all pets are up to date on their vaccinations OR have proof of current Titer Levels in order to vacation & play with us. We recommend Titer testing to prevent over vaccinating your pets.
All of our furry guests are required to be up to date on vaccinations:
FVRCP, Rabies, Feline Leukemia (Outdoor Cats), as well as some form of flea and tick prevention. PLEASE NOTE: We have the right to refuse pets if they have fleas or show evidence of having fleas.
