Hi everyone, I’m Melissa! I joined the Pet Pawsitive team in April 2024 and it has been such an exciting journey so far!
I recently moved from Pickering to Belleville for a change of scenery and change of career. My background is Management in the food service, but I figured it was time to try something different and work in the pet industry instead.
I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and I grew up with all kinds of pets. I’ve had many cats and dogs over the years, as well as smaller pets like guinea pigs and rats. To me, there is no better connection than the love and bond of a pet!
Since joining the team I have completed my Canine Attendant training and my Canine Emergency First Aid training courses through Canine Foundations and have learned so much! I'm currently working my way to becoming Weekend Supervisor which I feel is the perfect fit for me with my management background. Caring for your pets has quickly become the highlight of my day, I look forward to every day I get to spend time with them!
