Hi Everyone, here's a little about me. I grew up in the Belleville area with a variety of family pets as long as I can remember, which consisted of cats, dogs, turtles & rabbits.
I recall always wanting to be a veterinarian until I took Science & Biology in high school, it was then when I realized I didn't have enough interest in these classes to become a vet so I changed my career plan completely and decided to go into business instead.
I graduated College with a 3 yr Business Diploma majoring in Environmental Waste Management in industry from Sir Sandford Fleming College. Since graduating College, I explored many different careers fields such as Retail, Inventory Planning, Line Technician, Warehouse Operator, Collection Agent and then System Status Controller just a fancy title for an EMS Call Taker/Dispatcher. It wasn't until I relocated back to the Quinte Area that I was given the opportunity to do what I was most passionate about, which was caring for animals. I enrolled in the Trenval Entrepreneurial Training Program which gave me all the tools I needed to start my own business. In 2009, I founded Pet Pawsitive Mobile Pet Care Specialists, I grew the business from a one person operation to a 4 person operation and sold the business in 2017 as soon as I opened Pet Pawsitive's Luxury Pet Resort Inc. This was my goal from the start, to build a luxury Pet Resort in the Quinte area but it took a very long time to find the right space that was permitted for this type of business.
Since opening Pet Pawsitive's Luxury Pet Resort, I have continued to grow not only as a person but as a business owner too. Over the past 3 years our team has grown from 1 person to 5 people and I'm happy to report that Pet Pawsitive's Luxury Pet Resort is more than I could ever dreamed of thanks to my amazing team for helping me make it happen.

Our facility caters to fully socialized dogs offering all inclusive pet vacations for cats and dogs, semi-private luxury pet suites, and separate play groups for doggie daycare to ensure the safety of everyone, and let's not forget our famous Pawsitive Movie Night which we are known for, we actually do watch NETFLIX with our vacationing dogs every night 365 days a year in our Luxury Doggie Lounge.
Most likely you'll see lots of pictures of Bullet and Diesel playing in daycare because we live right above the resort. I've had Diesel since he was 10 wks old, I adopted him through Fixed Fur Life 10 yrs ago and we just adopted Bullet from the Quinte Humane Society in December 2019, he is now 4 yrs old. I am a HUGE supporter of rescuing and adopting personally and professionally. Diesel and Bullet are perfect examples of well socialized rescued dogs, in fact Bullet and Diesel are most likely to be the first dogs your pups will meet when they come for their social assessment. I have 2 cats as well, Amelia and Bridget whom I've adopted from Fixed Fur Life as well 11 years ago. My pet family keep me very busy but I wouldn't change it for anything.
